Because your story doesn’t end on your wedding day—it's just the beginning of a lifetime of moments. As time passes, the love you share continues to grow, and those early memories will always be there to remind you of how it all began.
I’m all about sunshine, flowers, blueberry muffins, dark chocolate—but white chocolate mochas, sandy toes, open windows, quiet mornings, a good book, cozy blankets, road trips, starry skies, and the sound of rain on the roof.
I’m here to do more than take beautiful photos—I’m here to give you an experience that’s as smooth and enjoyable as possible from beginning to end. Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life, and I’m dedicated to being there for you, making sure you feel at ease and supported throughout the entire process. You deserve to enjoy every moment, and I’ll be there to capture it all, so you can focus on celebrating with the ones you love.
"We love because he first loved us."

my favorite thing about what I do is getting to see the look on my couple's faces when they get to see what I saw from behind the camera
all started decades ago when I’d waste a roll of film on a Konica Minolta or a full disposable camera, capturing anything and everything. In the summer of 2005, I spent a week at a photojournalism camp at Western Kentucky University, where I discovered just how much I loved telling stories through photos. But even then, it still wasn’t love at first sight. Photography wasn’t always the plan—I had dreams of becoming an athletic trainer, working with athletes, traveling with teams, and seeing cool things. Life has a funny way of surprising you. I ended up graduating with a degree in education, but it wasn’t long before photography came back full circle, and I knew it was meant to be.
This career has taken me to some pretty incredible places and introduced me to some amazing people along the way. Every wedding, every session, I get the privilege of not just doing what I love, but also forming friendships that go beyond just business. It’s the real connections and shared moments that make this journey so special—each one adding something valuable to my story and reminding me of how much I appreciate the people I meet.
When I’m not behind the lens gushing over all the pretty wedding things, or at my computer editing away, I’m definitely with my family. I'm a wife, mama of two, outdoorswoman, plant lover, and proud "chicken farmer." I love spending time outdoors and traveling whenever we can. Adding to the fun chaos, I work as a substitute teacher, volunteer at my church, and have recently ventured into logo design for other photographers and small businesses.
Not only do we have a flock of chickens that keeps us entertained and provides fresh eggs, but we’ve recently taken up beekeeping too! We’re all about the apiary and aviary life. It's fun, and also rewarding to care for and grow things that help you be self-sufficient!
In July 2012, I was actually bored one day near the end of summer break. So I did what any normal college kid would do (kidding) and spontaneously up and traveled with some friends (double-decker bus style!) to spend a week in Rocksprings, Texas... It was one of those trips you just never forget - in a great way. Also was the closest I've ever been to the United States/Mexico border (>70 miles).
This is really the best way I can describe myself. I've done Mike Rowe "Dirty Jobs" work and worked retail at a Gander Mountain. I can sew, like to paint, read, garden. I have a piece of furniture in my house that I built as a teenager and entered in the KY State Fair. If it's picking up new hobbies to something completely random...I suppose there's never a dull moment.

Now have 2 elementary-aged littles, and we live on a "hobby-farm" near the lake. I've had the busiest wedding year for SJP I've ever had and am thoroughly looking forward to what the next few years brings!

Left my hospital desk job to accommodate my growing photography schedule. Officially went full-time that March.

Met my (now) husband. Graduated #RacerNation (2015) and got married that June.
Moved for college. Ended up doing shoots and a wedding or two even though I "didn't want this as a career."

Moved away from my hometown.
